Too Long

I do enjoy answering Brandon's questions to his Twitter folks! I've been thinking for a while now, if not a while, for quite too long how I would answer his question.

I can never get enough of this song and how it makes me ponder on the things that is really important in my life. In this moment for me, I think I should not complain about my studies and how it is going to take me a while to finish what I had started doing. It will be a long, long way to go and I hope to just keep going and focused on myself, and not forgetting why I wanted those things for myself in the first place.

That is also a lesson learnt for many of us. Keep believing!

There's no reason to fight
'Cause you battle the world every day of your life
And I've been watching you cry for Too Long

There's no reason to frown
'Cause I promise you soon, I will turn it around
Life's been holding you down for Too Long

You've got so much reason to laugh
I've got a picture of this, should I remind you of that?
They've been holding you back for Too Long

There's so much you haven't lived
You gotta run with a saint and take a walk with a sin
They've been sinking your ship for Too Long

There's no reason to fight
'Cause you battle the world every day of your life
And I've been watching you cry for Too Long

The Memory (Feat. Victoria Bernardo & Ryan Stead) from Digital Citizen by Marques Videography

To start off this post, first and foremost, I want to give some love to all who have been so supportive of this blog the time it was ever created! Now in 2017, 4 years of this blog's existence, given this opportunity would like to thank you for all the love and support for The Latency!

If you notice this is like the first ever blog post in 2017 I guess the objective of blogging once a week about The Latency was not even met. I guess we all could not stick to that now since I am blogging once a year it seems, haha!

Jumping right to the point, out of the blue I thought of opening the blog's email inbox. It was sent in around July and I got to only read it in November.

To my surprise I received an email with regards to Ryan Stead doing a guest guitar solo for the song "The Memory". The song was written by Philip Marques together with singer Victoria Bernardo and also the email was sent in by the songwriter himself which really awesome!

It is a collaborative EP called "Digital Citizen" which was released on December 6, 2016. I am going listen to it right now and enjoy! You should too! Here are the links:
